Quesnel Hearing Centre has been serving the Quesnel area since 1995. All of our clinical staff have a minimum of a university Master’s degree and registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC. We are interested in listening to your needs and improving your quality of life. Here is a little more about us:

Doug brings a diverse professional and educational background to our team, which he joined in 2015. Doug has worked for the Provincial Government in the Ministry of Advanced Education, and later within Post-Secondary Education. Since coming to Quesnel in 2006, he spent 9 years working for the College of New Caledonia, with the majority of that time as the Regional Director of the Quesnel campus. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduate studies in International Relations from Simon Fraser University, a Masters of Educational Technology degree from the University of British Columbia, a Certificate in Hearing Health Science from the International Hearing Society, and credentials from the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC as a Registered Hearing Instrument Practitioner. Outside of work you may see him snowshoeing in Wells, hiking on local trails, or biking.
Customer Service Representative
Charlayne was born and raised in Prince George, moving to Quesnel 11 years ago. Char joined our team in the fall of 2015. She brings several years of customer service experience and has an excellent understanding of health administration, as she previously worked in a local dental clinic. As you enter Quesnel Hearing Centre, Char is the first person who will greet and serve you. She is keen and active in helping our team ensure you receive the best hearing health service in Quesnel. She has an enthusiasm for life that is reflected in her eclectic interests. As an avid outdoorsperson, she enjoys a variety of athletic activities. Char explores her artistic passion by painting and using her woodworking skills on such projects as building a chest with old repurposed wood. Char’s family is well rooted in our community, as her husband works in the forest sector and her two young daughters attend a local elementary school. We are confident you will be well served by her attention to detail and professionalism.
